I know, its been a LONG time...

So much has happened since my last post. Mason is walking - well, running. He had his first birthday. Had a visit from Grandma Vadonna. Found a new favorite park. Went to the Aquarium for the first time. Just a lot of fun times in the past few months. Here are some pics. Hope everyone is doing well!

Mason's First Haircut!

He did great! His hair was getting a little out of control - and I couldn't wait any longer. His BFF Jaxon went right before Mason - so that might have helped!

We were able to have a great Valentine's day! Mason does seem to be feeling better and is sleeping soundly!

Happy Valentines Day!

I had big plans for today, which usually means something will go wrong. I was going to make a heart shaped breakfast casserole, heart shaped sandwiches for lunch, stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta for pre-dinner snacks, lasagna for dinner, and a white chocolate-raspberry cheesecake for dessert. Then...we had to rush Mason to the doc yesterday for a high fever and cold that wouldn't go away. Turns out, he has RSV which can be pretty bad. The Dr. thinks we caught it early enough so hopefully it doesn't get too bad. The ear infection he had two weeks ago also didn't go away and now both ears have secondary ear infections. He got an antibiotic shot yesterday and oral antibiotics for 10 days. He does seem much better today. We'll be home with him for the next 7 days or so until he's better.

His valentines present did make him feel a little better I think. And so far, (thanks to my wonderful husband) I'm still on track with my original plans! Breakfast was good and cheesecake is made. Now...we'll see how the rest of the day goes. Oh..and..it's snowing! What a day!!!

Getting so big...

Mason has grown up so much these past few DAYS! I can't believe it. He's pulling up to standing, getting new teeth daily and just graduated to the big boy bath tub! So proud.

He started pulling up to his knees about a week ago. This weekend, he just stood up like it was no big deal. We were in shock. He was so excited and proud of himself. I of course had to scramble to get the house babyproofed ASAP! I just didn't think this would happen so fast.

His teeth are coming in like crazy!!! Two weeks ago - he had two teeth. Now, he has seven! We are always shocked when we see a new tooth because he never shows any signs of teething...except the usual drool!

He outgrew his duck tub! Sad mommy...I loved that duck tub! Tonight he went into the real big boy tub. He loved it. So much more to play with and splash in. It was a struggle to get him out.

Also - I'm in full planning mode for Mason's first birthday. So exciting! I can't believe it's only a few months away! His party will be May 29th.
